At Paddington, your child isn’t a guest, they feel at home. That’s because everything is taken care of. Food, care, and above all personal attention: children aged 0 to 4 grow up with us in small groups, guided by a small team of familiar, permanent childcare professionals. We understand that entrusting your child to someone else is a big step. That’s why we want it to feel safe and right for your child and for you.

Flexible drop-off and pick-up
Rushing because you’re stuck in traffic or because work runs late? Not with us.
We’re open from 07:00 to 18:30, and you can bring and collect your child whenever it suits you. Once you’re home, you can take your time to unwind. Your child has already eaten: a fresh, warm lunch that is as organic as possible, plus a healthy bread meal at the end of the day. That way, even after a busy workday, you still have a little extra time together.
Flexibility at Paddington means that you…

A fixed daily rhythm with a fortnightly varied programme of activities
Our days follow a familiar rhythm, so children always know what to expect. Every two weeks we work around a theme with a matching activity programme, tailored to your child’s age. We think it’s important to offer enough challenge and stimulation in every area.
That’s why, every six months, we look at a number of fixed developmental points for your child: social-emotional development, speech and language development, cognitive development, and motor skills. But enjoyment comes before performance: nothing is more valuable than growing self-confidence and developing at their own pace.
Together we work towards the next big step: primary school. At Paddington, children learn to become independent, play together, share with others, and feel comfortable in a group.

Did you know Paddington isn’t a standard childcare centre? We’re happy to tell you what makes us different.
Outdoors as much as possible, and always on the move
There’s hardly anything more fun than playing with leaves and splashing through rain puddles. That’s why we spend as much time outside as possible even in autumn. Our Laren location is right in the centre of the village, and we love making use of that. For example, we walk to the bakery, the library, and the deer park.
Paddington Hilversum is on the edge of the forest and has its own vegetable garden, where we spend lots of time too. And when the weather is bad? Then we have plenty to do indoors: everything from sports, yoga, dance and music to crafts, baking cookies, playing games, or welcoming grandparents for coffee. Of course, as a parent you’ll receive regular updates through the app, so you stay closely involved.
