Childcare that looks at what your child needs
We look at what your child needs. Because even though regulations may prescribe a certain number of childcare professionals for a certain number of children, if we notice that extra care is needed, we arrange it. At Paddington, no one is just a number or a file.
That’s exactly why we value our small scale so much: we know every child by name and discover the personality behind it, so we can offer and keep offering exactly what they need. The most important thing for us? That your child feels seen, receives the right attention, and above all feels free to be themselves.

Working with a sleep coach? Dietary needs?
You know your child best and you know what matters to you.
Are you working with a sleep coach? Then we also take those recommended times into account during the childcare day. And if your child has specific nutritional preferences or dietary requirements, we will of course follow those too. Let us know, and we’ll make sure your at-home plan continues with us.
11 hours of childcare a day? Not necessary!
At many childcare organisations, you’ll see a mandatory booking of 11 hours per day. At Paddington, that isn’t required. Of course, it can be. We aim for contracts of at least 8 hours per day, so we can keep as much calm and consistency in the groups as possible. Looking for care on a Wednesday or Friday morning and there happens to be a spot available at your preferred location? Then we can discuss that option together. Thinking in the best interest of your child also means thinking along with you.
Healthy food is a given
Some children pinch their nose at the sight of vegetables on their plate. Until they are surrounded by a group of peers who do eat that same meal: suddenly it becomes interesting. All food and drinks your child receives with us, from breakfast through to dinner, are freshly prepared on site. This way, children not only learn a great deal about healthy eating, it also becomes something completely natural to them. And if we can choose organic, we do. In Hilversum , for example, we love using products from our own vegetable garden.
We value all of these things deeply. That’s why they are part of our policy, and why we set a high standard for ourselves. Click the button below to read what we do to make this happen.
