Working at Paddington
Paddington is a small childcare organization with locations in Hilversum and Laren. We offer care for children from 0 to 4 years old.
We work in a development-oriented manner, but do not make childcare a school. Children learn here through playing, being outdoors, moving, being read to, talking together, and above all, by discovering a lot on their own.
As a pedagogical professional, you ensure the basics: a nice and calm group where children feel safe. You pay close attention to what a child needs, help where necessary, and give them space when they need it.
You come up with activities that fit the children and the theme, go out with them in a fun way, and guide them step by step in their independence and development.
And of course, the rest of the job also comes with it: good contact with parents, transfers, working with your colleagues, and working together to ensure that the day runs smoothly.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who knows their or his/her field. You can work independently and take responsibility for what happens in the group.
You don’t have to think the same way everywhere with us. We actually appreciate it when you contribute ideas, ask questions, and come up with ideas. However, we expect you to communicate clearly and work together with your colleagues to find what is best for the children and the group.
You have a diploma that allows you to work as a pedagogical professional in day care according to the current qualification requirements, and you meet the remaining requirements for working in childcare.
And working at a small organization?
For us, that means short lines of communication. If you have a good idea, we discuss it and can often get straight to work. If you encounter a problem somewhere, we’d rather hear about it immediately.
We know each other, help each other when necessary, and consider it important that you have the space to do your work well.
Practical
You work at our location in Hilversum or Laren. We are happy to discuss the number of hours and the working days.
Your salary and other employment benefits are in accordance with the Kinderopvang collective agreement.
