About Paddington
In 1994, we opened our doors with one wish: to create childcare that feels like home. Not a busy, overstimulating place, but a calm environment where children have the space to explore and discover. We started out as a children’s hotel with 24-hour care, but over the years our concept has evolved. We transitioned to day care and said goodbye to our original name Paddington Kinderhotels. Yet as Paddington our foundation remains unchanged: small-scale, warm, reliable, and with personal attention for every child.
Qualified early years professionals
Everyone who works at Paddington not only has a real passion for the job, but is also fully qualified to work with children. They hold a relevant vocational or higher professional degree, are trained in paediatric first aid, and are continuously screened through the national childcare register. Our team is also supported by our coach, who provides feedback and guidance on day-to-day practice. This coaching helps our staff to keep growing, which directly contributes to a safe, stimulating, and loving environment for children. Curious to meet the people behind Paddington?
Familiar faces, every day
Besides our small-scale, homely setting, we believe peace and routine are essential. Every child needs structure and a sense of predictability. That’s why your child has a fixed group with a small team of familiar childcare professionals. That way, you and your child are greeted by familiar faces every day.
Full attention for your child
Our childcare professionals can fully focus on the children because other colleagues take care of everything else: from housekeeping and group support to administration and management. Many of them have been with Paddington for years and are familiar faces to the children as well.
